Develop Strategic Partnerships
- Assess different testing options in the market and select and qualify diagnostic partners and labs
- Identify issues in current testing landscape and work with external stakeholders to develop solutions to remove or minimize diagnostic barriers to therapy use
- Develop testing pathway robustness in all relevant clinical centers, including local protocol support, working on identifying and removing bottlenecks in testing pathways
- Work cross-functionally to identify innovative access/reimbursement solutions for companion diagnostics

Monitor and Improve Testing Performance
- Monitor testing quality and performance and take proper actions for improvement
- Organize CFT-meetings to report results
- Utilize diagnostics-related evidence for medical education activity and identify evidence gaps for either global or local plans to bridge

Develop diagnostic strategy
- As part of Product Business Plan, develop, evaluate, and deliver the national diagnostic strategy for the current and future RD products, play a role in shaping national policy, reimbursement of tests, and therapeutic guidelines
- Generate diagnostics-related insight to shape national brand strategy and tactics as part of Annual Business Plan
- Monitor and propose improvement plans for diagnostic-related brand performance
- Ensure in-market companion diagnostics/testing excellence for all product launches, including market readiness evaluation

Build capability in internal and external stakeholders
- Act as an expert and educational resource to external and internal stakeholders
- Deliver diagnostic-related educational initiatives including meetings, exhibitions, congresses/symposia, digital activities, and trainings β outside and inside the company
- Give relevant stakeholders in the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and Decision Making Unit (DMU) and testing labs a stronger understanding of the diagnostic landscape, challenges, and potential testing solutions
- Develop diagnostic expertise in cross-functional team i.e., Marketing, Medical, Sales, Market Access
- Engage with, lead, and partner with all members of the cross-functional team on all diagnostic-related activities to ensure AZ's RD products' launch readiness and optimal launch of therapy
- Provision of key inputs to P&M strategy build and implementation including pricing and reimbursement cases for therapy and associated diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement AI-based solutions for advanced diagnosis and patients' identification
- Develop and implement innovative diagnostic and transforming care solutions advancing care and optimizing diagnostic pathways for patients with rare diseases

Education: Medical, Pharmacy, or Life Science degree
Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry

- Solid scientific and disease area knowledge in medical science (rare diseases as an asset)
- True understanding of market-specific diagnostic/testing environment and RD ecosystem
- Granular knowledge of patients' demographics, patient's testing experience, and issues with different testing options along patient journey
