π Key Responsibilities

Create multimedia content (video, motion graphics) for digital platforms, including Virginia Athletics' social media accounts

Be a valuable resource for creative solutions and communications in developing and executing social and digital strategy

Assist with video/photo/lighting equipment management and upkeep

Assist with leadership, organization, and implementation of the Creative Services video assistant program

Lead all video production efforts under the supervision of the Assistant AD for Creative Services in executing projects promoting the University and all of its athletic programs

Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Creative Services β Digital Content in scheduling and execution of coverage for home and road athletic contests
β
Coordinate and lead video efforts on all specialty shoots for athletic programs
β
Set up, design, and execute video shoots for prospective student-athletes for official and unofficial visits
β
Edit and curate video assets for distribution to both prospective and current Virginia student-athletes as well as internal and external requestors

Serve as the primary producer for all long form and promotional materials

Other duties assigned by the Assistant AD Creative Services
ASSUMPTION: The successful candidate will have extensive experience in creative software, creative lighting, audio and video capture, and prior experience working with collegiate and/or professional sports programs in a creative role.

Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Three years of relevant experience
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in creative software (Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Photoshop)
