Key aspects of this role include:
ASSUMPTION: This role requires a high degree of self-motivation and independence, as merchandisers will often work alone and must manage their time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
โ Represent Mondelฤz in front of in-store employees and work closely with sales representatives to optimize visibility of Mondelฤz products on shelves and to construct promotional displays.
โ Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelฤzโ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
โ Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions.
โ Ensure Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) are well represented, stocked, and maintained through the implementation of Mondelฤzโ guidelines.
โ Ensure Sales Representativeโs negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate any issues with Mondelฤzโ management team.
โ Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure the most efficient in-store service.
โ Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
โ Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelฤz in store.
ASSUMPTION: This role involves physical demands, such as repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. may be required.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: No formal experience required, but previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
